Mr Mario Tolin commenced the company's operations and he remains the owner of the firm. Since 1995 he has been Court Technical Expert at the Tribunal of Saluzzo for the wooden flooring sector.
For over forty years, Mr. Tolin has been applying the techniques best-known in the sector for the laying of floors (stuck on cement blocks and nailed to chestnut nailing strips (roots) which are sunk in cement.
In 1982, after restoring and recommissioning old parquet floors laid on sand, he returned to and renewed this laying technique, which in fact originated in the early 1900s. The work is carried out personally by Mr. Tolin’s son, the Surveyor Gian Luca, and by specialised personnel divided into teams assigned to laying, to sanding and to natural oil treatments.
Our artisan experience is represented by over 200,000 sqm. of parquet flooring which has been laid on sand, over 50,000 sqm. of which on underground heating, and we are proud of our professional record in eliminating many problems which were impossible to resolve using traditional laying techniques. |
