Nailed Laying on OSB Boards

For those who want a nailed parquet flooring, but for various reasons cannot adopt the solution of sand laying, here’s a hybrid solution: a parquet flooring nailed on a subfloor made of OSB boards previously glued to the concrete screed below.

However, this type of laying requires a thickness between the concrete screed and the finished floor of about 4 cm. By adopting this laying technique during the construction in the screed it will be necessary to calculate this thickness, while in the case of a renovation there might be the need to lift the internal doors and the external thresholds.
